Mr. Bruno focuses his practice on Intellectual Property law. Mr. Bruno has a wide array of experience advising clients on matters involving trademark, copyright, licensing, privacy / publicity rights, and government contracts. As a former attorney with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, Mr. Bruno has expertise in all aspects of trademark prosecution and adversary proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Mr. Bruno currently serves as a senior advisor on intellectual property-related issues with the U.S. Department of Labor, where he handles a variety of copyright, trademark, licensing, government Data Rights, and privacy/publicity matters.
Mr. Bruno received his Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco with a specialization in Intellectual Property law, and his undergraduate degree from George Mason University. His professional affiliations include the Greater Richmond Intellectual Property Law Association (GRIPLA), the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), and the Copyright Alliance. Mr. Bruno is licensed to practice in Virginia, District of Columbia, and California.
